OUR ACTIVITIES
KARATE
Sessions are taught by Ryan Peel, 4th Dan, Okinawan Goju Karate. Weekly lessons focus on self-defense skills with fun, challenging games using specialized equipment. Learners are assessed annually to progress through the belt ranks.
ROBOTICS
Once a week The Young Engineers come in and expand the learners' practical and theoretical knowledge of basic robotics using various interactive mediums.
COMPUTERS
Computer skills are taught by using prior knowledge acquired in other classes to further develop the learners' understanding of the curriculum whilst simultaneously teaching them the skills required to operate Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
ARTS&CRAFTS
Learners are able to develop important life skills as well as their creative thinking by part-taking in different fine art, painting and cooking activties throughout the year.
SCHOOL CAMP
Learners and teachers go on an organized school camp for 3 days to allow them to grow, work as a team, develop leadership skills and independence.
PARENT INVOLVEMENT
Parent involvement is recommended to ensure a balanced and comprehensive education. Eg: Parents help with paired reading, life skills, crafts, outings, etc.
